Don's Lawn Care has been a South County institution since 1981. Don Johnson started the company as a one-man operation with a simple philosophy: show up, do the work right, and treat people honestly. That philosophy built a reputation that spread yard by yard, neighbor by neighbor, across Narragansett, South Kingstown, North Kingstown, and beyond.

Don is no longer with us, but his name is still on the truck. His son Jeremiah Johnson - Jeremy to most people around here - took over the company and has spent his career building on what his father started. Jeremy holds a degree in Horticulture and Turf Management and has spent decades learning the specific demands of coastal Rhode Island properties: the soil conditions, the moisture levels, the invasive species that push in from the treelines every spring, and the treatments that actually work in this climate.

Today, Don's Lawn Care is a licensed pesticide applicator operation serving all of South County. That means we can do more than mow your lawn. We run mosquito and tick treatment programs, manage invasive vine and plant infestations, design and implement fertilization programs tailored to your specific soil, and handle the full range of seasonal maintenance that keeps a South County property looking right year-round.

Jeremy is 52, has been doing this work his whole adult life, and is at the stage where he focuses on the services that require genuine expertise - the treatments, the invasive species work, the fertilization programs - rather than competing for basic mowing contracts.
